Yield and No Code are my two favorite albums of all time. After all these years 1998 is still the best tour.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

The video isn't in HD. That looks like SD, but upconverted to HD. IE DVD would have more digital artifacts from compression, where if you use a higher resolution on SD video you reduce that. So it looks better, but I don't think it was done on film (or if it was not sure they would shell out to rescan the film).
On an upside note, I really like the tshirt, so I ordered 10 -

I remember going to Virgin Megastore to buy Yield. It was pouring down rain in Los Angeles. Virgin gave away a really cool Yield poster with the purchase. I went home and listened to the album and I was blown away. Given to Fly even brought me to tears. Happy 25th, Yield! I cannot imagine life without this masterpiece.I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.0

My town had a mall store called Big K Music, but they always got new releases late (like the Friday, or following Tuesday after it was released). You couldn't actually buy albums on release day in my home town. I asked someone I worked with who drove in from a bigger town to grab me a copy on the day it came out (good 'ole A&B sound). I think I spun the GTF single more than anything other single ever. Those 3 songs over and over again. I was jonesing for the whole album0

Bought Yield the day it came out at HMV in Limeridge Mall in between college classes. Was driving my mom minivan. A 1989 Plymouth Voyager.1996.....Toronto

I first became aware of YIELD because Total Request Live was playing Do The Evolution. And that video is amazing. At the time I was at the stage of buying albums and only listening to the one song I liked (
). It would be a few years later that I would give the whole album a listen and realize that Yield is actually the meaning of life. From front to back Yield is everything. By pure happenstance I was able to see them play all of it in Milwaukee in 2014. Long live YIELD.

I'm enjoying that same of those old threads come back alive and what better occasion than for YIELD, which is such a great fucking album, WOW. From the kickass opener in Brain of J to the high energy and unique sounds of DTE to the melodic beautiful story of GTF. Faithfull can't be sung along to at any decibel less than as loud as f'n possible, and No Way is the best loop song ever! I'd say All Those Yesterdays isn't even in the top 5 of studio album closers, but yet it is still sooooo good. Enjoy the revisit of the album and I hope all of you are able to hear Jeff and Stone break down the album on Sirius. I'm in the midst right now and they are on MFC which is another great one. I can't wait for In Hiding to hit here shortly.Living in a SOLAT...SJ 11/95 SD 11/95 BB 10/96 Oak 11/97 SD 7/98 LA 7/98 BB 10/99 LV 10/00 San B 10/00 Irvine 6/03 SD 6/03 LA 7/06 Fonda 7/06 SB 7/06 DC 6/08 LA 9-30 10-6 & 10-7-09 SD 10-9-09 SD 11/13 LA1&2 11/13 MIL 10/14 OHANA FEST 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021 (EV, PJ and PJ Encore 1) SD 5/3/22 LA 5/6/22 LA 5/7/22 Fresno 5/16/22 LA 5/21/24 LA 5/22/24 OHANA FEST 9/27/240

Bought it on release day at Sounds in Lower Hutt, NZ. I was picking a few different copies up and looking at them before taking one up to the counter. Guy behind it said "Finally decided to go with it eh?" to which I replied "I decided before I got here-was just looking for one with no scratches on the cover".Stars are suns to other people.
