MSG1 for MSG2 trade question

It seems that I'm one of the few on here that got MSG1 GA; I'm coming in from Chicago for the weekend, with no one taking my extra. I'd be interested in doing a trade for a night 2 ticket, but I'm concerned with how I would get that ticket. Do I just have to trust the person I trade with will answer my call the next day? Or will they have will call open for both shows? Thanks for any insight y'all may have.

    Yes you just have to trust the folk on here. I am looking for a GA for MSG night 1 and have spare for night 1

    I'm coming over from Ireland for the MSG shows and can meet at any time either day

    Ticket collection will be on day of each concert

    10C tickets are given out only the day of each show. Many of us have been trading tickets this way for years and there's never been a problem. You just meet at the box office each day.

    Yes, you do have to trust the person, but if you are trading with a 10C member, it should be ok.
    You do have to take a leap of faith if you have the first night, but I can't imagine a 10c member totally flaking on you (e.g., taking night 1 and not showing up for night 2). I swapped with a 10C member who i didn't know for Brooklyn and it worked out great (i had the night 1 tickets). And i worked out a swap for MSG this year (this year i have the night 2 tickets but once i agreed to the trade, i would never consider backing out; i am going to do what i said). If you are trading with someone who is attending multiple shows, traveling, etc., they should be cool.

    I have heard about people changing their minds, but i think its rare (ie., taking a better trade a week or so before the show). As others have said, i think a ton of people do this.

    I am so happy to have been able to do the swap for two tours in a row that i will try to do it every time going forward.

    Can always have them pay you for the night one ticket the first night and you give it back to them for the second. That way it covers both if you feel uncomfortable.

    Im coming from Chicago as well. Looking for MSG night 1. You should fly out early to Philly (I am) for the first two shows. Have a few options for great seats for Philly 1. We could trade? At this point, I only have Philly 1&2 shows but I will be taking the train from Philly to NYC and need a ticket for night 1 at the garden. Help a fellow Chicagoan out?

    I have the same problem here.
    If the person is someone active from the boards, I intend to put more faith in that person.
    If that is a person with a history of a few board messages, it seems a bit more suspicous case to me.
    I think people need to get to know each other better for building trust once an opportunity for a trade comes up. :)
