Joseph, the What Stage area opens an hour before the first act on Saturday. You need to be there at that time in hopes of rail and wait it out all day. To get in the pit, probably need to get there before Macklemore.

Never been to Bonnaroo before. Me and my buddy are thinking of going now on the day shuttle. So, everybody will be lining up for PJ, does the crowd in the pit for Macklemore have to leave after they're done? isn't the whole area just one big pit? Just wandering how it all works. Last time I was at a festival was Lollopalooza in 96 and we sat there all day long. And it's going to be damn hot on Saturday

    Hey friends!
Can someone help me to get a sticker and pin?
I'm from Mexico and don't have opportunity to attend this tour until Wrigley.
So if someone wants to be my buddy merch I can return the favor at Wrigley. Also I have several stickers and pins to trade from the last tours, SA merch, etc.
Let me know! Thanks in advance and have much fun at Roo!

Gotcha. Thanks. how big are said pit areas? looks like from the pic that someone posted earlier, and comments, there is one on each side of the stage. Do they cut the line off if there is too many people in it, or once they let you in, if you can't fit, do they say sorry and then you gotta go find someplace else to see it?

700 people. 350 each side. They have a counter and click off the people as they enter. Happy Roo!!

Sure. Bus was nice, new enough to have phone chargers. They drop you in the middle of nowhere. They tell you to drop a GPS pin on your phone so you can get back. 20ish minute walk to centeroo. During the lightning storm they admitted there was no evacuation plan for the shuttles so we all got yelled at by various Roo employees to get out. One employee told me to "just go out to the tents and make friends" til the storm was over. They eventually decided we should all go to the general store, which we did. But then the general store owner told us to get out. Luckily it was just lightning, if it had been raining we'd have been fucked.

Bus back was fine. Got there about 2:30am. They had buses lined up and they were leaving as fast as they got full. Everyone on my shuttle was either asleep or openly bitching about the setlist and Ed messing up so much.

Man, I didn't even think of that during the evac. Sorry you had to deal with that, I would make sure to bring that to their attention. Use the social media platforms and hit them with some emails. I'm glad it was mostly a non event in the end.
