I guess because they think the people who have wanted it know that the orginal is three or four times that price, and will therefore pay this amount and largely think of it as a deal. I am not one of those people - that's a stupid price. I want this album, but I will wait. FYI, I prerdered this for less elsewhere (can't remember where just now, but could look it up later... though with shipping not sure of the difference). Amazon and its pre-sales get worse all the time. I NEVER do pre-sales with Amazon if I can help it. Jacked prices, and they are terribly unreliable about actually shipping the items when released. And now I'm wondering if Amazon is starting to embed shipping costs into the price and then saying the shipping is free.
