throwing the towel in at the 2.5 hour mark for MSG...obviously, if anyone is selling a pair for either night, I'm interested (along with 300 other people lurking the boards today).

I was 0 for 8 in my fanclub selections for the first time in 20 years.

BUT I was able to get MSG1 and both Phily today during the public sale, so im happy. :)

I had 7 people trying for tickets at various locations around NJ for me, and I was the only one to get thru. Crazy. I have been getting PJ tix since 1994 and this is BY FAR the most difficult they've been.
But now its a game, so fine, ill play the game, buying as many pairs as I can that I dont even want to sell for a pair I do. Horrible system.

What a fucked up place we live in where to purchase tickets to watch our favorite band play live we have to enter a lottery. If we lose the lottery, we must prove to a website we are not robots to enter a "virtual" waiting room, and later learn an hour later we were waiting for no reason. Then, we must pay usually double the face value for half decent seats if you are lucky enough to have that money. I'm 27, what's it going to be like when I'm 50? I'll be at MSG, but I feel for people who got shut out.

When your 50 youll throw good money at in every direction knowing youll never eat tickets and select the best for yourself, dont worry.

And youll still wanna vomit on sale day.

Scalpers are the scum of the earth. I can't believe that they can't do anything about them. By 12:15 I could have bought MSG 104 for almost $800. Ridiculous.

The worst part is you waste 2.5 hours proving you arent a robot to eventually buy tickets off of stubhub that were almost certainly purchases via TM by a robot.

just now checked philly 1. still available for rear view upper. if anyone is still without, keep trying all day and night. and then periodically throughout the coming days and months. specifically today and today, all those whose cards get declined, and those who bought more than the max will slowly trickle back into the system. Good luck!

I always continue to check, even after i have tickets, curiosity mainly, but just in case something ridculously good pops up. (I once scored front row to the reading Vote for change show, a couple hours before the show, albeit through a reseller). I Just checked the venue's ticket site and found those. Got shut out of the public sale for philly last year and tried calling the venue. they gave me the info about them re releasing canceled orders, and even said that they don't always release all the tickets at once, sometimes they stagger the ticket release. sometimes the private tickets that the venues claim dont get used up, so then those will release to the public. sure enough, scored tickets later that night, hours and hours after the websites said sold out. i wouldnt give up until the show starts! Good luck.

There is usually a ticket drop the week of the show on ticketmaster. Probably some of the best tickets I've ever gotten has been right before the shows. I got sick tickets to philly 3 and 4 on TM two days before the show. There is always a hope.

will you be at either philly show this year, rolling the dice? i know there are many, big lots, but if you just happen to see a blue tailgate flag in the air, with a white stickman figure on it, stop by for a beer! cheers.

Totally shut out of Greenville via ten club and then on TM ... Tried everything... Good news is This band is still very relevant. ... (At least the bots think so...) ... Life goes on and any help along the way is always appreciated... Cheers.
Fwiw: I feel lucky these guys are still touring - in 1998 I did ... In 2004 I did ... It's all good and expected, despite all the drama, I thank you 10 Club.

The app was definitely the way to go, got MSG tickets behind the stage, browsers tickets were gone instantly. Got 3 tickets to Raleigh too, so stoked

Buddy was able to pull 4 in section 112 behind the stage for MSG2. Not ideal but just stoked to be in the building.
I sat behind the stage at MSG once, it was awesome. Ed gives the seats back there some love!

Enjoy, be happy you are going!

Ticketmaster is horrible, but the Wells Fargo site for the Philly show was even worse. Got stuck in a virtual waiting room on my phone and my laptop. Couldn't get anything even after 20 mins, but luckily my sister managed to get through.

    Agree on both websites.
But, i got a Philly ticket after a hour & fifteen minutes on my PC.

TM Says "No Tickets Right Now" for MSG 1 & 2 - I'm definitely hanging my hat (and hope) on the "right now" portion of that alert.
