Reading Festival 1st Encore

Hi folks I've finally uploaded the 1st encore from the BBCi stream...it's taken from a dvd vob file that had the last part of the main set so I've re-edited it into an mpg.

The encore features:

Given To Fly
Once
Crown of Thorns (by Mother Love Bone)
Comatose
Alive

Not Broadcast:

Iron Man (by Black Sabbath tease on Ukulele)
Soon Forget

You will have to download it in 2 parts and re-join them using this program:

If someone wants to make a dvd of the show then this is the best way:

Interview (BBC3)
Main set (BBC3)
Iron Man (by Black Sabbath tease on Ukulele), Soon Forget from 1st encore (webcast)
Rest of 1st encore (BBCi)
2nd encore (webcast).

The above should be the best quality we will ever get the show!

That's a very nice service you're offering but the reason I uploaded this 1st encore is because no one has uploaded the high quality BBCi stream which blows the webcast out of the water.

I don't really like Realplayer so if you want to use a different player then read this:

As it's an mpeg 2 (dvd) video you will need a player than can play dvds. But you also need the mpeg 2 codec which will allow players without it (windows media player) to be able to play it.

If you have designated dvd player software like PowerDVD or WinDVD then you're all set as they have the codec included. This will then allow you to use pretty much any player to play these files.

If you don't have dvd player software then I think VLC player has the codec included:

Thanks. I have DivX, but it wasn't working at the time. It is now playing the encore.

I'm new to this. I have downloaded the BBC3 main set, the webcast, and the BBC3 first encore (and joined them). How do I separate the second encore, as well as Iron Man and Soon Forget, from the rest of the webcast (into separate files?) so that I can make a dvd?

Some kind of editing program will do the trick of separating them. I'm not sure which is best though.
