Ticketmaster Question for the Group-4 ticket Limit?

Good morning.

Aren’t the mornings better when we have shows to look forward to? And when I can get on the board at work. Shhhh...

I’ve got reserved tickets for my wife and I in Raleigh. A good buddy of mine from grade-school has never seen PJ and has had a tough go lately, so I let him know that if he wants to go, I’ve got him covered.
My parents live in NC and also want to go to the show, but I noticed in the fine print on TM that only 4 can be bought at a time, and we’ll obviously have a group of five.

I could keep our two 10c seats and split the group up, but that would rob me of the opportunity to look over at my pops during a McCready solo and share that “he’s really shredding it brah” look.

Does anyone know the best way to get a group of 5 together via TM?

Is my only option to pick 4 seats, go through checkout, and then try to log back in and get the fifth seat next to the others?

I appreciate the 4 ticket limit to spread the wealth, it just makes figuring out a group of 5 tickets tricky.
Any feedback or experience with this would be very appreciated.

Thanks all.

I would buy 3 through TM, Use your 10C tickets to get in the door and then offer to upgrade 2 people sitting around your group of 3 to your 10C seats. Usually isn't an issue to find 2 people willing to move to better seats.

Not sure the demand there, but up north good luck even pulling 4 tickets together

Best bet might be to try and buy 3, then ask the people in the seats next to you if they want to swap seats with your 10c seats, hopefully it's only 2 people together. Otherwise look for a open spot with seats all together, they usually happen in upper corners of places where people in those seats squeeze into other people's better seats

I think this is almost the only way to pull it off. Getting even 4 seats together via ticketmaster will be really tough unless you can grab behind the stage seats. Personally i only ever go for a max of 2 tickets for high demand shows like this and split the group up if need be.

Thanks all. I think the 3 plan is my best bet to keep everyone together, but splitting the group up wouldn't be the end of the world.

^^^^^^This, I did this in Moline and traded my 10C tickets to two people so I could sit with my wife and other kid. All four of us together, and I made two other people's night by giving them an upgrade!

So I did get three through good ole. TM. What a joke though. On right at noon, site and phone...3 are upper level....Raleigh was sold out by 12:15.

NPR's story about how the public gets screwed out of tickets was on point. Grateful for the 10c and that I got 3 at all, but damn.
