ISO Blackie Poster from Chicago "can offer a few things"

Serious people please. Im looking to add the Blackie poster to my collection. I will do it justice with a great framing job. I can pay cash as well as offer a PJ 20 backpack still in its plastic that has been never used or taken out of the plastic. A Transformer poster from the Global Citizens festival in mint condition and a few other posters too. 96 Ames Randall's Island. Any and all leads feel free to send me a pm.

Let's say that Pearl Jam played a show in Chicago in 2016. They do not have a poster for that show. Then, 9 months later someone decides to design a poster for the show and sell it. The band stops the sale because it isn't legitimate and only 20 get out in the mail. It has a clown on it with a Tommy Gun. What are you willing to pay for one of the 20 posters?

Yep, except that everyone believes that it was an Ames Bros artist which is why there is some air of legitimacy to them. It is a really cool poster but at the end of the day isn't a true show poster in my opinion as it was made after the fact.

I hear ya, I'm hoping someone might want to unload one for tour funds. I've wanted one for a long time and decided now I would try to go after one. I understand everyone has their own opinion's but maybe I can find one through someone on here

I think the legitimacy issue comes up when you consider that when you go under Pittsburgh 2000 on this website, it shows a picture of the Missing Link Poster. So it seems they were "approved" at sometime. The other two Missing Link (Atlanta and Chicago) posters are not on PearlJam.com.

Yeah, I saw that they put the Pittsburgh up there. It is all personal preference. I used to own one of the Chicago posters. Paid $1,000 for it back in 2005. I sold it because I valued the cash but mainly because to me it wasn't legit because it was sold a long time after the show. A show poster should be sold at the event unless there is mailing issues or something. To me my second show doesn't have a poster and it didn't. That is my opinion though and it really is a badass poster. I would pay $500 to buy it back and fill the void with something, but not $3,000 unless I was very well off and had nothing better to do with the money.

Hopefully I won't have to pay that much. I totally get where your coming from but I really dig that poster and hoping I can get one.
