Odds Feature

The tour announcement email mentions an "Odds Feature": This tool has been created to help members know which shows are in highest demand. And I see a ton of posts around here talking about odds. I'm losing my mind trying to locate any information on odds for the ticket lottery. Please help!

I understand what you mean. 10-Club says that 2nd choice preference are only utilized after tickets have been drawn for all those who entered a certain seat/venue as their 1st choice preference.

I wonder myself whether the Odds feature is representative of entries based on just the first preference or whether it calculates ALL entries, include 4th, 9th or 12th preference picks.

If it's based just on 1st preference picks, it would mean any venue/seat choice with a percentage less than 100% would be a "throw-away" if you chose it for a 2nd or more preference choice.

If the odds feature takes into account All entries for a show, it's less useful in that you don't how many entries represent 1st picks, 2nd picks or 10th picks for example.

If more details about what "entries" exactly the odds feature is based on, I would appreciate a link to THAT

It is a gauge of how much interest there is for a specific show and does use all entries towards the shown percentage. A priority 1 is equal to a priority 9.

i thought sarah was joking with her initial response above. there doesn't seem to be a way to navigate to that page from within the site itself! clicking "tour" > "upcoming" just displays announced shows. going "ten club" > "ticket policy" takes me to http://pearljam.com/tenclub/tickets

anyway i've got it now, thanks team

That page is accessible by going to "My Account" and clicking "Ten Club Tickets".
