Basic question about ticket odds

So confused..... can someone answer in one word please, does "99%" on the ticket odds mean I'll have a better probability of getting tickets, or worse?
Thank you

Better. 99% means that out of 100 people who put in for the tickets, 99 will get them. However, if you just joined 10c as it looks that you did today, you won't qualify for this ticket lottery. (Which also includes the continuation of this lottery with Wrigley and Fenway.) If there is a second leg to this tour announced, you would qualify for that.

    Welcome!

Not necessarily, he could have joined the club in 92 and just happens to have just joined the boards because he does not care about gossip and rumors and hypotheticals, which is the board 99% of the time. Either way, good luck with your ticket search and Welcome to the boards

Click on their profile. Says joined January 23. (As in 2016.)

Your point could be correct, but with the username that they are presently posting with, they would not qualify for tickets for this lottery run.

  • I have to say there is something I dislike about the lottery system:

I live in NJ. I obviously want to try for NY and Philly tix. Last tour I was shut out and this time around the odds look tough.

I've thought about putting in for Florida shows instead as the probability of getting tickets is greater.

I wish there was an option where if I struck out in philly and Ny then I could put in for FL. (I know that there IS an option for that called TM or stubhub but I'm concerned with fan club tix here).

Its really messing with priority. If I put philly-NY 1-4 than I might miss FL. If I put FL shows 1-4 than there is no way I get NY-Philly.

    Anyone else wrestling with this?

If you want to go to Tampa or Jax, you should be fine because they are 99% for reserved. Go for NY/Philly and than pop in TB/Jax reserved and you would be fine. Mia/FtL is another story. Could be dicey. Percentages aren't as good

To clarify, i joined 10 club july or Aug 2014 but just signed on to the forum jan 23 2016. So, this is the first time I've used the lottery system on my membership, (went to 2014 NA shows via my ticket buddy's 10c tickets).
Thanks for all of the helpful advice. I am looking forward to Lexington and a Philly show (or 2) And Wrigley.
