Ha,not as much as Sanders and smarter then Trump.Just don't order a giant Soda, you'll be fine.0

He will only run if Sanders gets nominated because Sanders has made it clear that he wants to break up the big banks. That will hit Bloomberg in the wallet.
I hope he runs...that will guarantee a democrat wins the white houseRemember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

He's a slimy jacksass.
He's also probably the least frightening candidate on the R side.

Bloomberg sucks. I'd vote for Mitt Romney before I'd vote for Bloomberg.

I must confess to a bias here- I have a real hard time getting behind a super rich magnate being president. I suppose a super rich benevolent magnate would have to power to do good things but somehow I can't imagine that happening. Must learn more about Mr. Bloomberg so I'm be watching this thread and hoping some of you enlighten me more."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

I remember when he took office and chose not to live in Gracie Mansion. That's how rich he is. His own apartment was nicer than Gracie Mansion. I never understood how he was elected.0

For you NYers why was he a bad mayor?

You know he bought himself a third term when they're only supposed to get two right? How was the cities crime rates? How was the budget?etc. Was he a good leader?

Why do I feel suspicious of a political figure who's wealth is estimated at 31 billion dollars? Could it be because his net worth is 165,775 times that of the average American and the average American? And then consider that the bottom 5 percent of the American income wealthier than 68 percent of the world’s inhabitants.
But, you might say, what does that have to do with his ability to be a leader? I guess I just don't trust anyone with that much money. I mean, can you really be that wealthy without directly or indirectly enslaving a LOT of other people. Me thinks not."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -

Bernie would so well against him and Trump.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
Yeah, I think if it came down to Bernie vs Trump, Bernie would win big. Not sure about Bloomberg, mainly because I don't know enough about how well liked or disliked he is. At least a Sanders/Bloombery race would feel less like a circus event than an anyone vs Trump race!rgambs said:

Thing is I'm not searching back through 12 years of links to appease the "source?" comments. I lived through that jerk I don't need to convince any one that he's a jerk.
Here's a few things off the top of my head.
He eminent domain-ed Willets Point for a development project that never happened.
He was in bed with developers which has a huge impact, in his case you'll find the homelessness epidemic is widely a result of his stupid ass. On a personal level the over development of neighboring areas put a huge strain on the transportation (check out 7 train blues) and all these condos went up on the existing infrastructure meaning there's not enough supermarkets, schools, parking, and Con Ed goes nuts with the limiters in the heat waves cuz there's too many apartments in their grid which wasn't upgraded for the condos.
Two words: broken windows. Now I know it's Ray Kelly's deal but it was under Bloomberg's leadership. Hey there's two more words for you, Ray Kelly!
The#1 thing though is the third term. He had a closed door meeting with some important guy and they decided to reverse the term limits for him to "run" for a third term. I'll never forget it cuz my boss was like "it don't matter he'll get voted it." I'm like "you can't seriously believe he'd go to the trouble of getting the term limits over turned if he wasn't going to definitely be re-elected"
