I know Mike told a boardmember the had plans to jump into studio around april 2008, but there are rumours.

It's not on the internet, but it was in a Dutch local newspaper (Limburgs Dagblad)... The rumour is Radiohead, Pearl Jam en Rage Against The Machine are interested in pinkpop 2008...

Anyone heard other rumours?

Nope, not a thing. I don't think they'll go back to Europe that quickly either.

the greatest thing in the world would be if pj would decide to play hawaii again in summer of 2008, preferrably in late june or early july. my then-wife and i are planning on going there for our honeymoon. hell, even a show in southern california at that time would be great.

Pearl Jam, RATM and Radiohead at pinkpop would make my year! esp since ill be living in Holland again by then.. then again, ive learned to distrust most rumors so we'll just have to see.

I heard that Pinkpop rumour too from my Dutch girlfriend. We saw PJ on that unbelievable night in Nijmegen together. But I wont believe it till its confirmed.

I think we won't see a new album until late 08 at least, so i could seethe band going on an '05 style tour of South America, maybe with a Hawaiian show and another couple of shows at the Gorge.

I would love to see them do a tour of maybe 7 or 8 cities where they play 2 gigs in each - either one acoustic and one electric, or one 10club show and one arena show.

And let's be real. Pink-POP... That festival had it's moments in the 90's. They should try to put some new bands up there, instead of Lenny Kravitz (and others) for the 15th time.

if that were true, it would be the most ridiculous lineup in the history of rock. pj and radiohead at the same show? a thom and ed duet? holy fuck. i'd quit my job and leave my family to see that!

election yr coming up?
either Ed or the band will be involved somehow so u can expect either/or another VFC type of tour with like maybe 8-10 shows or ed solo just doing a few songs like no war, times a changing, patriot, etc for political rallies. Other than that maybe a benefit show but as a band and a full out tour we wont see that till next spring/summer

Weren't the boys rumoured to play this past year at Pinkpop? If they do make it next year, I will sell blood/my eggs/my organs to get over there! Can I stay at yours? I'll bring homeade cookies for ya, lol.

If not a bridge show then something along the lines of a suprise easy street show or a benaroya/montana/northwestern school type of benefit show will be cool...other than that like I said..gimme a few dates I can get to before elections and I'll be happy

maybe Stone will tour with Brad...I think they have some new stuff coming out, and Mike will do his flight to mars thing again...they'll stay involved here n there...only ones u wont hear from prolly are Jeff and Boom.
