I'm a newbie to the board, so please forgive my audacity, but:

Ottawa 9/16/05 is absolutley unreal. What a treat. Thanks to all those on the board that recommended this boot. Great choice!

    Definitely one of my fav boots! I remember reading along to this set and cursing out everyone in attendance. :D haha. IN HIDING & DON'T GIMME NO LIP!?!?! :eek: AHHHH!!! Seeing those 2 on the set completely knocked me on my ass. Then to actually listen to the entire boot? :o Just like LauraPJ said, this is definitely one stand out stellar version of BLACK. One of the most gorgeous ones to date imo. That improv Ed adds on the end?! *faints* SO gorgeous!

    HAIL HAIL Ottawa... and all the lucky little bastards that were at this show!

    yes Ottawa was unreal! it is in my top 3 shows that i have been to.

    and Black from Ottawa is absolutely my favorite ever.

    Listened to it again today,
    forgot how good it really was.
    I don't think one of my Euro shows came close to topping that.
    Wow, what a night.

    My personal highlight was probably the acoustic I believe in miracles. I adore that one on the Benaroya bootleg but never thought I would get to hear this live... until Ottawa. :)

    I was there too, and I agree, it is amazing. But their shows just get better and better...Zagreb def tops this one IMO, but hey, every show is special in its own way...sounds corny, but its true. Ottawa was amazing, the show, the setlist, the crowd, everything. But Euro shows have a different feel, and I cant really compare...its hard :o

    The trip up north was worth it alone for this show. I was almost blinded by a pick from Mr Mcready, but even so I loved every second. :D
    It was an amazing experience, an insane day, and I'm so glad I got to go with one of my favorite people in the world.

    Sometimes when I hear this boot I cant believe I was lucky enough to be there.

    haha I could hear you screaming over the phone when I called you for No Lip and In Hiding. I was floored when I was told of the soundcheck just before Eds preset.
    What an AMAZING show this was. I was lucky enough to get a setlist and a mike pick at this show. (the pic was from Nippleholic who had extra's...thanks Mike!! Both Mikes lol), AND it was my girl Share's birthday show too!! Lucky woman. :)
