I just read where Glen Frey has passed away at the age of 67. Apparently from complications with intestinal issues he's been having. When it rains it pours! So many great musicians leaving us too soon lately. God bless them all.

Appreciation-wise?
Hope that makes sense.
Sweet av, by the way.
Needs to have an updated verse now to include Weiland, Lemmy, Bowie, Frey and I'm sure there are others. Dropping like flies. Stairway to heaven is having a traffic jam during rush hour it appears. Geeeeeeezdang!! FAK! Just spent Friday night listening to Desperado, Hotel California and The Long Run on the turntable and the fiancé and I couldn't recall a more awesome night of music we had while sittin around drinking and playing dice. we had a cool night. then today's news.... junk garbage.
PS - can we please move this to AET where it would probably be better suited?? Cheers and keep on jammin.
2010 WATCH IT GO TO FIRE!!
In Jim Jarmusch's movie about Neil Young and Crazy Horse Neil talks about all the friends and colleagues who were his peers who had died. He said, "They're dropping like flies". It sure seems that way. I get it.
I remember when my parents went through the same business when their GI generation heroes started dropping left and right. The wheel of life keeps turning.
R.I.P. Mr. Frey
Just wanted to take a second to show some love for Glen. The Eagles started me on my road to the love of Rock and Roll. I appreciate them everyday. We are losing some really amazing artists, and I'll cry for each one of them. They've done some much for me. I'll love them forever.
With everyone we lose (Bowie, Glen, Lou Reed, BB King, Clarence Clemons...on and on...) it becomes more apparent to me how lucky I am to have PJ. I didn't get to experience the 70s, but I have PJ. I hope they realize that more and more, that they are representing Rock and Roll. They have the immense honor of keeping it alive. I hope that they are inspired to play more shows to honor our fallen friends. I hope they know how much more important they become with each passing day.
Maybe a little melodramatic. But, hey, its a testament to how much I love these guys.
Thanks for reading. Thanks for not posting rude replies.

i agree. when i was driving home last night and heard about Glen Frey passing I thought how lucky we are to still get to see PJ and made me want to see as many shows as possible on this tour since who knows what the future holds. I will enjoy every second I can of PJ and the guys.
My thoughts exactly. We have to take advantage of their shows and the 10c community as much as we can. We are so lucky to have them.

I continue to love the music of Harrison, Cash, Elvis, Waylon, Hendrix, Hoon, Bowie, Morrison, Marley, not to mention that of Mozart, Bach...on and on and everly on.
Same could be said for the Dali's and Picasso's.
I've come to consider it all as a gift to us - their gifts to us - and maybe ours to them, in the resounding impact, appreciation. Becomes part of us.
Yes, I had a typo while yelling at someone about a typo. Classic.
Thanks in advance, just trying to remember if he has been part of those tours.
