ISO Bowie "Blackstar" Clear Barnes & Noble LP

Hi - a little of topic but if any PJ fans have a spare copy of David Bowie's "Blackstar" record on clear vinyl that they are selling for a reasonable price I'm interested. With or without the prints, doesn't matter. Thanks very much!

I might have an extra coming tomorrow and I think I just want to trade for something, the whole commercialization of his death is unsettling. We should be sharing his swan song, not bidding it up and locking it away. I'll PM you if my extra comes through...

I hear you. I can't explain it myself... Regardless of what's going on with eBay, at least people seem to be excited about listening to him. He's one of the greatest ever and it's a terrible loss.

They won't be repressing the limited clear vinyl version.
Those seem to be currently in the $300. - $400. range.
And the clear vinyl sounds and looks awesome - it's like a big, fat, heavy slab of clear glass!
A very beautiful and thoughtful parting gift from Mr. Bowie.

The repress isn't going to be numbered from what I've heard, so if someone is looking for the collectibility factor the repress isn't what they want.

I don't think they were ever numbered. I ordered from Barnes and Noble when they were first taking pre-orders, and I don't see a number anywhere.

I also doubt they will repress the clear vinyl. That soundstage link doesn't say anything about clear.

The Barnes and Noble version didn't come with prints - only the version on the Bowie site had the option to buy the lithographs.
