@ Easy street are still available some items signed by Mike (I sent an email to the store)
Someone can grab a vinyl for me in the store? Mad Season ;-)
Thanks!
I already snagged the Mad Season...
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
Next show is FREE!!! IN STORE PERFORMANCE Easy Street Records & Cafe 4559 California Ave SW, Seattle -------> Sat March 19th 7pm. You won't want to miss this!!!
Did Easy Street get any of these? Im headed there in a couple weeks if they got lots ill will just grab one there. If not ill grab one now.
They did for the last set.
I picked up a signed copy of the first single at Easy Street. Hope they have these too.
Probably will but guessing not just because the Stereo Embers 7" record release wasn't happening @ Easy Street Records, unlike Danny Newcomb & The Sugarmakers 7" show @ Easy Street Records.
Join us at 7pm on Saturday, March 19th as we welcome Stereo Embers to Easy Street for a free, all-ages performance!
Stereo Embers' new 7-inch, "Wrong Way"/"Ways Of The World" is the second official release by Mike McCready's HockeyTalkter label! Mr. McCready says this about the release: "Stereo Embers are a great band. The song ‘Wrong Way’ is one I couldn’t stop listening to. Great chorus and killer songwriting. ‘Ways of the World’ is a perfect foil for it. With Robb Benson vox, Tim Dijulio lead guitar, Ben Brunn bass, and Cassady Laton on drums, Stereo Embers have been tearing up the new Seattle Scene lately, and I love the interplay between Robb’s great vocals and Tim DiJulio’s smoking guitar leads. A proud release for HockyTalkter Records!"
Mad Season/Screaming Trees drummer Barrett Martin adds: "The Stereo Embers are my favorite new band out of Seattle. Killer songs, great musicianship, and they totally slay live, just as a rock band should."
Don't miss Stereo Embers in-store at Easy Street this Saturday at 7pm! Fronted by Robb Benson, who led local favorites Nevada Bachelors, Dear John Letters, and Dept. Of Energy, Stereo Embers also includes guitar god Tim DiJuio (Lazy Susan, North Twin, Flight To Mars), bassist Ben Brunn (Nevada Bachelors) and drummer Cassady Laton (Dear John Letters, Dept. Of Energy). Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready picked up on the talents of the Embers right away and when he created his new record label, Hockeytalkter, they were one of the first bands he called. Their new 7", "Wrong Way" / "Ways Of The World" is out now on Hockeytalkter and will be available on Saturday. We hear the label boss might be showing up as well. It's free and all ages, so we'll see ya there, OK?
My buddy Ben plays bass for Stereo Embers, and I couldn't be more happy for him. He and lead singer Robb Benson were in another really awesome band called Nevada Bachelors in the late 90s, and I highly recommend checking them out, too.
Ed...buddy...pal...stay true to your word and play Boise again.
