Definitely not going as I live in Boulder, CO.
But I started going to the original club at 930 F St. In 1981!!!!

Saw many awesome shows at the original and the new location.

    Have fun

I'm a little biased in my statement, but it is truly the best live music venue in the world. I am beyond sad I can't make this exhibit. Super stoked to receive the book though, gonna be a terrific read.

Received my book today, and holy crap it is so awesome. Interesting, well put together, the whole shebang. Will be devouring this for the next couple days.

Wasn't a big fan of the 9:30 Club the few times I went there in college while I was down there. It was alright but it didn't stick out to me.

I'm with you. It's not bad, but I don't see why everyone gets all jacked up about this place. I think most of these smaller type venues are pretty much the same.

LOVED the old 930 Club. Best hole in the wall to see live shows ever.

I went down to the old 9:30 Club several times.....I can recall seeing PRONG there and what show for a place no bigger than my living room. I think it's one of the smallest venues I've ever attended. Great shows, very loud.

The recent 9:30 Club I've been a least 50 times, love the place know it like the back of my hand.

I have never been to the new 930 club. I hear it is much fancier than the old one. The old one had so much personality. Plus you never knew who you'd run into there. I was there seeing Pianosaurus and Michael Stipe and Peter Buck were in the audience. Was a nice surprise.
