    Killed by death
  • I just saw Motorhead in Indy a few months ago. They had cancelled a few shows due to Lemmy's health so we weren't sure they were going to do the show but they did.

Lemmy looked pretty fragile but they still rocked it.

    RIP

A true icon that built a bridge from punk to rock and was respected by both. This man WAS rock n' roll. I feel like music has lost one of the last "true to himself" badasses that the industry has left. RIP Lemmy. You will be missed but not forgotten. I will be drinking whiskey tonight in honor of the ULTIMATE BADASS that is LEMMY!

  • I am utterly devastated by his passing. I finally got tickets to a show in Dallas back in September that he had to cancel due to his health. It was a crushing blow. Amazingly, he finished the tour. The guy was one tough hombre. The world won't be the same. May he rest in peace.
  • it is truly amazing to see the tributes from all walks of music. pretty crazy.

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

    Scheduled for Jan 9, 2016

We want you ALL to be a part of this memorial service.

So wherever you are, PLEASE get together and watch with fellow Motörheadbangers and friends. GO to your favorite bar, or your favorite club, make sure they have access to an internet connection and toast along with us.
Or simply invite your pals around and celebrate Lemm’s life at home.

Whatever your venue, and however you can, let’s be sure to gather globally on Saturday 9th and celebrate the life of our dear friend and irreplaceable icon.
