To me they are the great Canadian hope for rock music right now. Great live show. Last time I saw them they did an amazing rocking cover of Fatboy Slim's Praise You. Looking forward to their show in Van in November

had no idea they were so popular. they added a second show in Winnipeg at a 1800 seat theatre here. I saw them open for the Headstones in Kingston and they were good, but I kind of wrote them off as radio-rock poseurs (could have been a band that green at the time didn't translate well into an arena setting). even declined an offer to meet the band at that show. LOL. may check them out again.
new album "Cigarettes" out Spring 2025!

Their live show is really good, especially White Noise. Check out some non radio songs such as Shapeless Art and Sometimes on a Sunday.

Totally agree with you.  You tube videos are always good as well.

I was at that K-Town show too. Hugh was on that night. I thought the glorious sons were ok for an opening act at the time.
havent seen them since. I guess they are getting bigger.

They are opening for The Struts in November at a local venue. I enjoy The Struts and I had never heard of these guys. I've listened to some of their stuff the past few days and I'm excited to see them live.

Have you seen The Struts live?  Saw them before they blew up and will never see them again.  Lead singer reminds me of a cross between Russell Brand and Mark Wahlberg in Rockstar.  Couldn't stand him!  I do want to see Glorious Sons though. They were just through town here at 7th St. Entry but I couldn't make it.  Would have liked to see them in a small venue.

I saw The Struts a few years ago and the lead singer definitely is a little over the top. I enjoyed the first show and they are playing a small venue again so it should be a good show. I always enjoy a good opening band, I've discovered some of my favorite bands that way.

Saw them at the Commodore over the weekend initially kinda as a favour to my brother as he is a big fan. I enjoyed the music on the albums fine enough but wasn't blown away or anything so wasn't overly hyped about the show. They totally exceeded my expectations live and really made me more of a fan than I was before. Very very good live band, well worth checking out.

It's nice to find some fans of these guys. I'm assuming most of you are Canadian though I see some of you aren't. It's been fun watching them play small venues and getting to our cities third biggest venue in about 5 years. I've seen them I think 15 times now always a good show, but they definitely had more spunk in the first couple years

might be biased being a fellow Canadian, but caught their show last night in Detroit and they are something special....so proud of them (one night removed from jamming for 65,000 the night before in Philly) and their star is on the rise.....such a great live band, get a chance to see them if you can, songs translate even better in concert

Seeing them on Wednesday in MN at a nice small venue.  The live album they have is what sold me on seeing them.

They are coming back to Des Moines this summer with the Struts. 2 quality bands at a decent price so I'll be there.

Agreed. I would like to see what they could do as the headliner. Both times I've seen them it's been as the opening band. About 10 songs and mostly the same setlist.

I like the new album, there are some good tracks mixed in there. Right now, I would put it behind their previous work but I'm sure it will keep growing on me.
