Yeah, a good listen. I'll tell ya what though - Adams always seemed to be this weird dick that I've never seen his music worth justifying some of the ways he's acted in the past.

New episode with Kevin Bacon is pretty good - but I'll say I'm bias because there's Philly love, and I love the story Bacon tells about his dad being a city planner and when his dad protested against no skating in Love Park.

I'm only halfway through the interview, but I'm enjoying it as well.  The dad/Philly/Love Park story was great.

I also enjoyed hearing all of the Animal House stories - easily in my top 5 movies of all time.

Listening to this re-post with Cornell. Hearing Maron close to the end say, "you're all survivors"....that sucks.

Anyone going to check out Maron's new Netflix show, GLOW?  I plan to watch a couple of episodes this weekend.  I'm not a binger.

I started Monday's podcast on my run this morning with Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin (from GLOW). I only have about 15 minutes left.  Good interview so far. They all have fun with each other.

As someone said in the movies thread, "I'd watch Allison Brie chew gum" - I second that. From the trailer I saw on Netflix I'm definitely watching that series.

And of course had to listen to the interview with them.

and that little guitar example from Taj. Fuck me that was good.

I love how Taj talks about later how he doesn't like when people pick up his guitars, and that's exactly that we did

    Of course, he's an exception.

Anyone listen to the Anna Ferris interview? The first half was pretty hard to listen to, but it did get a little better.

At one point, Maron yells at her, "Just talk!" He said it in his normal comical-upset Maron tone, but you could tell he meant it.

I thought Maron did a good job of bringing the interview back together in the 2nd half.

Or Marple Newtown or SEPTA. Or my, and Kurt's, hometown of Lansdowne.

But it was an alright interview.

Ha yeah. Lotta philly. Love the “you know septa right?” No guy, I’m from New Mexico I have no idea what you’re talking about

how about when he dropped the trombone lingo or whatever then got called out for not knowing what he’s talking about

nothing crazy but I thought it was generally cool

I liked the Jay Leno episode a few weeks back. Always hated Jay and knew Maron wasn't much of a fan either so it was an interesting listen.

Yeah, not bad to hear his point of view, though Leno is still a jellyfish and was never funny. And, hey, can't knock a guy who made hundreds of millions of dollars.
