Pearl Jam was in Slovenia once..but history is the finest whore... everyone comes back for more...so why not show support and maybe...just maybe... someday...they'll lift us again...

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! i missed them when they were in ljubljana...but i always had a wish of seeing them in Križanke..(plečnikove križanke;)) my highschool ...not any more since i graduated)...it has the best atmosphere!!!

Honestly, I had never heard of Slovenia before this year, when my parents went on a bike trip there. They made a video of their trip, and it looks like an absolutely beautiful place.

Anyway, mnarob Križanke would be fenomenal, great idea! Answers to both of your questions: No. (Was to young then (according to my parents) to go to the concert alone..I'm regretng that I wasn't there. And Obiwon76 isn't helpful,hehe.
And benjs,yes, it is a beautiful country, but as you wrote most of the world can't find us. Ignorants..

Same story here ... Not seeing Pearl Jam in Ljubljana is one of my biggest regrets. :( I'm still angry with myself because I let my parents stop me from going. But I remember ... when the official bootleg came out I immediately bought it and I was listening to it over and over again.

Zagreb was great, but I hope they'll also come back to Slovenia one day!

haha... this is exactly what happened to me!!!!
it's NOT funny, but we all had the same problem! when my parents stopped me from going(they also said i was too young! yeah right and they let me on metallica when I was 11!! :( ) ...i wanted to go soooo badly to my first PJ show that I almost climbed from the 6th floor, just to sneak to the show;)

i admit..it wasn't the best idea:D
but now seeing them in Bologna, Vienna and Zagreb!!!.... it was VERY worth waiting for!!!! part of me still can't believe that I saw them...so I say:
COME BACK TO SLOVENIA

It's nice to hear that you like our little chicken shaped country...

I would like to believe that majority here listens to rock, but I have to dissapoint you..pop is quite popular and also ex-Yugoslavian music...(some of it is rock too).

Education might be right though.
I just read the other day that more than 75% youth in Slovenia finishes universities which is supposed to be among the highest in the world..
Just last week a team of students from the University of Ljubljana won the Grand Prize at the international competition Genetically Engineered Machine, which was held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the National Institute of Chemistry.
So yey, we are small but we make ways! But what is the use of that if later on we can't get jobs that fit our level of education???

Ljubljana2000 and Zagreb2006 are on the top of the PJ shows I have seen... and yes, Krizanke would be great... I saw QOTSA there few years ago and it's really great venue...

What a lovely country, I spent some of my summer travelling round there (recommend the Celica hostel in Ljubljana, something a bit different!). Ljubljana is such a nice city and the people are very friendly, such an unspoilt place.

And the bar in Ljubljana in the undergound cave next to the riverside, very cool!

Can't wait to go back

Pa ka te zdej se tule neki lepe delate...ah saj ne morem verjet, da lahko v maternem jeziku pišem...kakšna sreča...vremena Kranjcem so se res zjasnila...
u glavnem...Maribor&obala ali kjerkoli že dragi moji...izpiti niso ravno dober razlog....da ne bi šli???
dajte no...jst imam narejenega samo enega...samo...sej bo šlo...pa itak..sej letnik lahko še vedno ponavljaš...čeprav, jaz se že učim pa šparam denar...ni da ni...

Dle je treba hitr poznanske stike navezat...se veš, veze ti ful nucajo....sam matr če je na tem forumu tok težk Slovence pa Hrvate najdit....
Ker je še pa ena varjanta...če se nas zbere 10 ziherašov, najamemo en kombi, na dan košta 10 jurjev, pa se zategnemo do Nemčije, pa še za Poljsko pol ni problem...sam je pa res, da more vsaj 8 jih zna furat.

Zdi se mi, da me nagovarjaš kot moškega...sem pa ženskega spola ..no nima veze..
Glede prevozov sem zvedla, da bodo koncerti.net imeli najbrž Munchen pa Nova Rock pa mogoče Italijo v ponudbi...to je fajn vzet v obzir.
Drugače pa je pomoje opcija, da se povežemo s Hrvati, ki bodo najbrž šli z avtobusom..(pomoje boljša opcija od kombija, sploh, ker mislim, da bo lepa številka)..
Sicer pa je od vsakega posameznika tudi odvisno..Eni bodo šli samo Katowice, eni samo Munchen, eni vse živo..ipd..pomoje je najpametneje še malo počakat, da se zadeva skristalizira...pa potem, ko je ziher, kdo gre kam...nardit najboljšo varianto.

ja sam osigura sebi katowice, još čekam munich i možda Italy...
