European tour 2016?

Hi Jammers,
In Europe there are rumours of an upcoming 2016 tour...does anyone have any updates? Unofficial voices said that the PJ European Tour has been cancelled due to fear of terrorism...hope not!

    We shall see. Info has been posted that as of 11/28 everything was still good to go, but some people claim otherwise.

    There are various sources clamming the tour was cancelled unfortunally.

    Rock Werchter Festival (where they usually play) are announcing the last headliner in about 60 minutes.

    we shall see...very hypocritical by the band cancel a whole EU tour and then book a US tour...

    I highly doubt that happened. It was originally rumored US in the spring and then EU in the fall. They could have or still could do both. It wasn't like EU was cancelled and then US put in its place.

    Werchter did announce, no Pearl Jam though. There's still no headliner announced for Thursday though...

    Europe in Autumn would be unusual, we are generally a summer destination as they play outdoor venues/stadiums

    There's an obvious typo in Dimi's message, but I think the correct wording would be
    "hope the rumours about europe cancellation is wrong" and NOT "whole rumors about..."

    It wasn't in the rumours I heard, but there are so many about that I am not sure anyone knows what's what.

    Yeah, two possibilities here. Either PJ asked them to delay the announcement or they really cancelled the tour.

    We will see in January but I'm pretty sure they will tour only US and Canada.
    As an event is foreseen for PJ25, a European tour will probably not happen...
    2012 : Amsterdam 2
    2014 : Amsterdam 1&2, Milan, Berlin, Werchter
    2018 : Amsterdam 1&2, Pinkpop, London 1, Berlin, Werchter, London 2
    2020 : ?

    Seems more likely of a PJ 2017 Euro tour but waiting until new year for confirmation...I really hope we get some dates in 2016...Would love to see them in Vienna in 2016 if possible

    April to early May for US/Canada. Early June to early July for Europe. Late summer for Fenway / Wrigley / PJ25. Plenty of months still to rest.

    I simply have to see Pearl Jam in Ireland. It's one of the things I need to do before heading to the flip side. I'm working on renewing my passport now, so I hope they don't hit Ireland again before the summer of 2016. Can't wait until I get my chance!

    Dublin was good in 2010 but Belfast was so much better. Rumours PJ will play Ireland next year?

    Ive really only ever seen PJ in Europe (between 2006 - 2014) and most dates were between June & August so im kinda thinking it's not gonna happen for us in 2016 unfortunately. Fingers crossed there's a euro tour early 2017. #Gutted

    I went to NYC at Xmas so can't justify a trip back this year...the wait for Euro Tour continues, but when it comes I'm going to hit it pretty hard.
