Anyone heard any rumours yet? Think the main one for Slane is AC/DC with GreenDay as support.

Know a lot of you would hate to see PJ play here but personally I would be made up, rivival of '93 - PJ and Neil Young, would make my year!!

Green Day were a rumour last year too. I never put much stock in the stuff thatgoes around at this time. If they're still being rumoured around MArch/April it may be true

I don't think Green Day are doing any shows until 2008....when their new record is released.

Snow Patrol makes sense, they'll probably be headlining the Oxygen sister event T in the Park as they're biggest in Scotland and Ireland. Shame they suck these days

:D I love 'chasing cars' though, think it's almost as good as 'run'. They're not a very exciting band though for headlining festivals... almost as exciting as coldplay

I think they've tried to jazz up their on stage presence for the last album. Not that there was any need, when they were touring Final Straw they were a great live band but when I saw them in May, Gary was not playing guitar on many of the new songs and trying to do some bad Bono impression :(

Pearl Jam were rumoured to play last year... I remember finding a link that said something like Lord Mountcharles said he wanted them to play there. Fuck it... they've both gone to shite, especially Slane.

but I read something a couple of months back where Henry said he wants to bring Slane back to its roots this year and get a genuine rock band.

Look no further your lordship :)
