-1994 Cleveland - 1st show, I really like Derek Hess' work including this one!
-2013 Pittsburgh - 8th show, beautiful poster with a lot of "pop", very relevant to the city!
-2013 Wrigley (Cracker Jack) - 7th show, we all know why, classic poster!
-2013 Wrigley Mural - 7th show, a very cool collaboration poster that has that great baseball/concert theme. Just like the PJ20 Billboard, it was very cool watching this one come together in person! It was very cool briefly talking to Munk One during the process too!
2011 E. Troy PJ20 (Billboard) - 5th & 6th shows, the colors & design are cool but being there & seeing it come together on the actual billboards was awesome!
2010 Cleveland - 4th show, very cool poster & the colors & look of the poster are 100x better in person. The design is very cool as the Sunday show was on Mother's Day.
2014 Moline - 12th show, this poster sums up an autum day (my favorite time of year), PJ show, & Moline, the location of the John Deere HQ perfectly.
2013 Buffalo - 9th show, very cool poster with a lot of detail & subtle PJ tie ins & references. I really like the brown paper & how the colors of the poster work together. Poster is very relavent to the city (as was the poster the previous night in Pitt). I think this one is very underrated in our PJ community.
Posters I have for shows I didn't attend:
2009 SLC - "Red Mosquito" (white paper) - great looking poster with great colors. I really like how it is themed to the song which is one of my favorites off of one of my favorite albums. It's extra cool that the songs first live appearance was in SLC back in 1995!
1998 Cork - Classic Ames Bros poster that is 100% Irish themed for the Ireland shows!
2010 Dublin - very cool BK poster with great color perfect for an Ireland show.
2010 MSG - Kong, NYC taxis & lady liberty, & Galaga. Great looking poster!
2010 Hartford - Justin Hampton does a great job paying homage to Norman Rockwell with this one! On a side note, I have his poster from the 3rd poster convention that is the image the boys are pasting on the fence in the Hartford poster. The colors are amazing on that one!
- 2006 Honolulu CCFA by Dumbgun. Very cool looking poster perfect for a Hawaii event.
2015 "McMelty" & "The Voice" by Brian Methe. Great artistic work & great looking posters. These & others can be found at bmethe on etsy.com
Posters I don't have but want someday:
- 2011 PJ20 2nd annual poster convention by Mark 5. The eagle playing card. Just a great looking bad ass poster I would really like to have up on my wall!
- 1998 DTE by Todd McFarlane. A very cool looking print that I wish I would have got years ago.
If anyone knows how to easily attach the pictures of the posters and can or wants to add the pictures, feel free.

Bravo to you all for having the discipline and patience to go through your collections and narrow it down to a list of top 5. At the height of my collection I had 250+ posters, and despite trimming that down significantly I couldn't choose 5 specific ones that stood out to me. That's the beauty of it - the artwork is subjective but regardless it's so easy to get lost in the image field for hours.

Is that the crystal ball? Can I ask how you acquired the poster? Because I don't think it was for sale at the show, or was it? It's not an Ames, so I don't think it was officially sanctioned by the band.

Christchurch 2009. I was at the show, the trip was a big deal for me, but I don't think that plays a role in my appreciation of this. I just really like the artwork and the thought that went into it and the design. I've actually got 2, one from the show and one from the 10c sale. I'd have the AP too if I were quicker as someone just sold one on here at a very good price.
The rest are in some semblance of an order of importance, most to least:
Was at show. Fell in love with poster and bought it at 10C sale. First poster I ever bought.
This artwork resonates with me. I wasn't at the show, and in fact first saw this on the shirt not the poster (I was at one of the shows on the shirt). I had felt the Iraq war very deeply, and with GW on his way out by the time I saw this, it was still just such a striking message that I had to buy it. First PJ T shirt I bought, at the first PJ show I attended. Even though my story with this image is about the shirt, I'm including it because the poster is the same image. I do not own the poster.
Was at show. Love artwork - loved show experience, completely unforgettable. Do not have poster, too expensive now, too hard to get at the show.
This one is sort of weird and hard to explain. The main buildings in here (empire state, chrysler, UN, Smoke Stacks, that black one - that's basically what you'd see staring straight from the roof of my building. Like, the manhattan skyline gets "done" all the time in like photos and movies and tv and stuff, but I dunno I guess cuz this is like the most familiar part of it to me since that's what I spend my whole life next to - plus he does get bonus points for including the smoke stacks cuz even though they are in queens they are in front of the skyline. Was at show. Not a huge fan of Pendleton's other work. I've actually tried to get a couple pix to explain myself on here but it never works out.
Was not at show. Love artwork. Have poster.
Was not at show. Love artwork. Mad Max Koalas! Too badass not to buy. Have poster.
Was at show. Creeped out by poster at first then it grew on me. Do not own.
Was not at show. MUST HAVE THIS POSTER. Toucans are the shizz.
Was not at show. Love artwork, colors. Do not have one. WAAAAAAAAAAANT.
I as well did not like the Mexico wrestling poster. I only get posters from shows I attend (or I would be bankrupt). Here are my top 5 (from my collection):
www.kcsfc.net 10.12.2000 Bonner Springs / 6.12.2003 Bonner Springs / 5.3.2010 Kansas City / 10.3.14 St Louis / 8.20.16 Chicago
Was not at show. Love artwork, colors. Do not have one. WAAAAAAAAAAANT.
That's a good one! I don't otherwise buy posters from shows I didn't attend, but I did buy this one - I was in London in 2010, figured that was close enough! Got it from a scratch and dent sale for 20 bucks, so awesome. Still haven't found the imperfection.
2-Phoenix 2000 (was at the show, still searching for 'cause I stupidly gave it up in a move)
Is that the crystal ball? Can I ask how you acquired the poster? Because I don't think it was for sale at the show, or was it? It's not an Ames, so I don't think it was officially sanctioned by the band.
Yep, that was the one. I'm remembering it as being for sale at the show. Although now you have me second-guessing myself. It seems so long ago.

Thanks for sharing, I've just Googled it a bit. Seems cool! It's definitely one of the things I love about Klausen's work, he really gets these cultural things into the artwork in a very natural way. Love it.

Just a heads up, UNESCO awarded "el filete" as patrimony of all mankind.
If you feel like it, you can search for Buenos Aires 2011 show threads I posted a lot about this, probably you might have seen it already but it's worth checking, but it's a lot of search

This is my all time favorite:
This one is just pretty.

I have a bit of a thing for BK artwork.
You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
