Interesting. I just found out recently that he was also in the movie, The Outsiders (based off the book by SE Hinton, who worked on the film as well). I tweeted SE Hinton (one of my favorite authors about this) and she responded that she didn't even know that he was in it. When I told her that the first RHCP album came out the same year as the movie, and that's why she might not had known that he was in it, her response was..."Oh, he's in that band?" haha - I guess she didn't know who Flea was at all.
