The promoters are called Founders Entertainment, so literally meant them haha But yeah, I'd be pissed. Gonna be real interesting the dynamic going forward, if Panorama sticks around.
Panorama is a done deal. Gonna be at Randall's Island. Cos leaked that LCD Sound system is one of the headliners and Pollstar had leaked that Mumford is the other.
Mumford is out for Panorama as they are playing own show in Queens. Latest rumor is LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire and Radio head as headliners.

Ok quick cliff notes. Anyway they sounded good. Crowd was into it. I really liked the new songs. Similar songs as they played at the cap show Seen them almost a dozen times and never got a cover so clampdown was an awesome surprise treat. Julian addressed the complaints about no encore at the cap saying "we didn't play an encore during our first 3 albums so what's the big deal" (the big deal was Tuesday's show was way too short and they made us wait way too long) so they reluctantly came out and played a one song encore. Drag queen is solid. Crowd was much more engaged than during beck, maybe cause it was daylight vs dark? Anyway glad I went

Awesome. But now they have 5.5 albums and an average age fan base of 40. They need to play 2 hour shows. It's not 2001 anymore
Agreed. With that full catalogue there is no reason not to play longer. I guess when u grew up a bunch of rich kids in private school u don't understand work or the fact that people who do work and spend money to see you deserve their money's worth and shouldn't have to wait an extended period to come on stage (that turned darker than I anticipated)

I'm like you. Still have love for the band but that doesn't mean that you weren't correct.
I can't get into Tool, but I think that's a really, really cool grab and a very big step in a good direction for a festival like this.
