Yep. Fk praying and gods. Need to get past this archaic belief system. Take power away from fucking Huckabee and Ayatollah Cruz.

I consider praying (for me, for my loved ones, etc.....) as sending good thoughts, good energy. Ain't too proud to not accept such goodwill.

As to gods, same as above. People live with kindness, decency, peace...and their own god? Who am I to wave my finger?

To say fuck that would be saying fuck you to those offering it. My conscience just doesn't allow it.

    Yah.

I have been an outspoken critic of religion, but each to their own. If some person believes in some God, doesn't impact other people's lives in a negative way, and wishes well for others... I'm okay with that.

It's when some person believes in some God and harms others as a result that gets me pissed off and irritated.

Prayers are not heard... but they are hardly the problem.

this is all wrong for the kids
    parents have different rules
    because they are parents
    but still are responsible for
    children what they know and
what they ought not to know...
    because parents have the power
in many ways so more priviledges
unlike children who are to remain
    subjective...
this thread doesnt help us at all

I thought "under god" was dropped years ago and that most door-knockers are Jehova's Witnesses? Not sure about the latter as I've never been knocked upon in that sense.

I feel about some atheists as I do about fundamentalists, zealots, and maybe several vegans. Keep your shit to yourself and kindly fuck off with whatever dogma you feel the need to force upon share with the so-called uneducated and lost.

Leave it to me as I find a way to be.

Nah, it was edited. So to me, the dot's also a symbol for not owning up to original comments.

Now, brilliant asterisk? Whole different story.
