Anyone in Ten Club planning to meetup before the Sao Paulo show? I'm flying down from Seattle and want to meet some fans. What is the best place close to the venue??

    any meet-ups the afternoon/evening of the concert? We're staying at the Morumbi Hilton.

    ben30338, plimsoul, how are you planning to get back to the Hilton after the show?
    I'll be at the Novotel which is fairly near to the Hilton but I've been reading not the best area to walk in. If you're planning to get a taxi or smt I'd be interested in joining you back to the Hilton and then if necessary getting another cab from the Hilton to the Novotel.
    Any thoughts?

    Hey guys, I've got a car scheduled to pick me up after the concert at 12:30 am. I believe that the gentleman that I purchased my tickets from is also staying at the Novotel. I don't think it would be a problem to add some extras to the car. Just let me know if you want to pile in, and I'll contact the hotel.

    what did the car cost you??

    Not being nosey, I'm thinking of doing the same thing...We are at the radisson...

    If we meet at the pre-party is be in for sure if you want to divide the cost

    R$ 160, but that was just for the little lady and me - not sure about extra per-person pricing. We're flying in on the Friday night redeye - is there a pre-party on the afternoon/evening of the concert? If so, we're in.

    I live in the neighborhood between the stadium and the Novotel, and I recommend making a car arrangement. I could actually walk to the stadium from my place, but am not planning to. (it's not a bad area really - this just isn't a city where you should wander around dark, quiet streets late at night). That said, I'm an American and have enjoyed living in SP for 3+ years. With a few smart precautions I'm sure you will enjoy the city and the show!
