they will paly 45 minutes of the hits, then ed will come out with U2 for a while and call it a night. not really a pj show, they are just opening.

    You're very welcome....

Breaktime. 45 minutes or so til U2 take the stage.

    I'm sleepy.

Damn, I really would have felt cheated if I had stayed in Hawaii and only got an additional 10 songs.

Pearl Jam fans tend to live in a bubble. Outside that bubble is a much, much, much larger world, where bands like U2 and the Stones rule the day.

I like the bubble. It's soft, comfortable and it plays PJ 24/7 with a few breaks to play things like MLB, Mad Season, Singles Sndtrk, TOD, and AIC.

Not sure what the person who started this thread was hearing, but from where we were, we clearly heard the soundchecks, which were: Hawaii 78, Throw Your Hatred Down, Big Wave and World Wide Suicide. I did hear bass parts of Jeremy, but it wasn't the full band and there were no vocals, and it was a good bit before the Hawaii 78 started.

Yes! I was just about to post this. This is the same soundcheck I heard in the same order.

    Hawaii 78 (full)
Throw Your Hatred Down (kinda quiet)
    Big Wave (full)
WWS without most of the lyrics

When they were doing equipment checks, they did opening riffs to Jeremy, Severed Hand, and one I didn't recognize.

Ok fine....my info was wrong. I was half an ocean away and it's hard to hear from that far. :)

    Just blame Hollywood...ehrr, 1Vedhead. :p

I'll edit, if you guys insist.
