Rubbish. I cant wait to see PJ open for a reunited Pink Floyd (ROGER too) show. And they should play the show in occupied territory at Roger and Eddie's request. lolSVRDhand13 said:
No reason whatsoever for PJ to open for another band.

So what kind of timeline do they have now for possible dates? Between Ride and Pemby they have a full week off in the NW that they could do something. And then after Pemby they have pretty much 3 weeks before heading out for the Boston show. Could we see some dates in there?1998: Vancouver 7/19

I think Jeff said in an interview that there may be one more show announced this year. My guess is this is it for this year.0

Or...they can buzz in for the day/weekend, play the show, fly home afterwards, resume time off. Even as the headliner at a festival they're likely using house lights/stage/PA. Far less labor-intensive than a headlining tour or Wrigley/Fenway.Deamon said:So what kind of timeline do they have now for possible dates? Busch Stadium set to make a HUGE concert announcement here in St. Louis 10am on Wednesday...tho its a long shot with them playing Wrigley already I figured I would throw this rumor out there0

My guess is that it's Guns n Roses.pjalive21 said:Busch Stadium set to make a HUGE concert announcement here in St. Louis 10am on Wednesday...tho its a long shot with them playing Wrigley already I figured I would throw this rumor out there

I thought that too but they cancelled the one date and removed St. Louis...it was the 25th anniversary riot show...I cant see Busch Stadium taking on that responsibility, but maybe that's why that date was cancelledPearl34Jam said:

Don't kill me if not true but a Cardinals season ticket holder told me it was Pearl Jam at Busch Stadium......also heard Coldplay rumored and GnR as a rescheduled date but I don't see Busch going for that
Update:::: It was Paul McCartney...blehPost edited by pjalive21 on0 -
I don't think there will be a tour or that this will be a true "solo" show. Plenty of his friends on the bill (Jack Irons!), so I'm guessing it will be similar to Metro last year.pjalive21 said:Kinda surprised on the solo announcement, which to me means a mini solo tour for him around that time

You guys remember how brutal the months of October and November were going through this charade of over-analyzing everything and having our hopes crushed? And now the first show of the tour is friggin later in the day I'm typing this.
Enjoy everybody, been a long wait!0 -
Yep and remember how the original list was mostly correct and there were some doubters who haven't shown their faces in a whileMignelli14 said:You guys remember how brutal the months of October and November were going through this charade of over-analyzing everything and having our hopes crushed? Maybe I'm a masochist, but I found this thread really entertaining in late November & early December. I think the peak here was 12/10 on the newsletter release day. That $hit was great. (analyzing the buds on the trees in Lexington? I got nothing done that day, that was easily the most fun I've had on this forum)Mignelli14 said:You guys remember how brutal the months of October and November were going through this charade of over-analyzing everything and having our hopes crushed? In November I booked hotels in NYC, Philly & Hartford based on that list. Now I have a hotel within walking distance from the Philly arena for short money.SVRDhand13 said:

I remember some clowns laughing at the idiots who booked hotels early, I wonder if they're still laughing?
Have fun in Florida, I'm pumped for this tour!!!!!!!!0 -
