Agreed, this thread would be more appropriate titled "2016 Hopefully/Wishful Guesses For PJ West Coast Dates"SVRDhand13 said:
Yea this thread has turn into guesses more than rumorsNoload said:Still no viable rumors for West coast that I've seen. Doesnt mean it's not coming but no venue leaks that usually have the most validity.

my bet is they cleaned up their leaks after the last tour announcement... also, those cities on that list make sense to me... I think they may actually be legit0 -
I think Seattle is the larger event to follow Boston-Chicago... so its not part the other dates on the list, but part of the tour announcement, just like they did earlier this year.... that makes sense to meJimmyV said:That both the Gorge and Seattle are on that list continues to lead me to doubt its validity.

Bonnaroo - Oklahoma City - Cedar Rapids - Sioux Falls - Missoula works pretty well on the map heading west... and that easily goes into Canada, Portland, Boise, Gorge in any order...
Gorge on July 4th weekend makes a ton of sense... playing a the new arena in Las Vegas for a healthy payday makes sense...
I actually believe those cities the more I look at it0 -
with fuel so cheap it would make sense to tour pretty hard this year0

It's very hard to clean up leaks. But Ride did seem to come out of nowhere.my2hands said:

+ They've never played the Gorge and Seattle in the same year. People argue that the Gorge isn't Seattle. Sure it's a 3 hour drive, but there's nothing there. That venue is designed to lure people from the City of Seattle to a show in a beautiful location. Gorge and Seattle shows attract the same audience. It's a bit redundant to do both. This also comes from the band that only played a Single night in Seattle on the last tour, even though the show sold out -3 seconds.. lol.derbydave said:

On the other hand Boise would be pretty sweet... The last one there is in my top 3. I'm feeling bittersweet about going all the way to Chicago, if there's a bunch of shows here just before thatPost edited by Zod on0 -
It would pull folks from Spokane, Portland & Vancouver BC as well!!Zod said:

I trust this list but it probably includes every where they have hold dates. Which means some won't happen. For example they aren't gonna play the Gorge and seattle and Portland. My bet is if they play the Gorge then they don't play seattle and Portland. However if they don't play gorge then they probably play seattle and Portland. Also I wouldn't be surprised if they play the Pemberton Festival the weekend after Ride so that would eliminate those other Canada dates.my2hands said:here are the cities that someone posted on facebook and later took down... these are NOT confirmed in any way and are probably 100% incorrect, but it sure is fun!!! maybe alternative nation.com can post them as clickbait and make some $ of it? lol

I could see them doing Seattle/Portland or Gorge/Portland. PJ has been pretty good at playing Portland. Just like Vancouver they hit on almost every full tour.
Speaking of which. If a full Western Tour is happening, this is a really big tour overall. The kind of tour they usually reserve for a new album. Either there's an album coming out or we're a really long way away from one, and they wanted to do a full N.A. tour anyways.0 -
Also San Francisco seems fishy unless it's meant to be San Jose, Oakland, or Mountain View because I don't think there is a venue in SF that can hold them except for the baseball stadium. I don't think they really ever play there...maybe a few times but there certainly is no indoor venue that can hold them now.0

It is true enough that was in SF proper about 10 years ago, but I don't think they'd be going back there as the place only holds 7k. But anything is possible I suppose. Just trying to assess the validity of the rumored(?) west coast cities.kasedoug said:
