Jesus all I'm asking for is some simple vague information. If they know when they are gonna announce the dates then why not release that info to fans? That's all I'm asking. I'm not asking for their first born child!

Good question, I've been wondering the same. If things were pretty much planned but the announcement itself got delayed then no big deal they'd be ready to rumble but if not its got to delay the start a bit.

I would think they'll change their stage setup and not have the same stuff that they had back in '13, right? Someone's gotta design it all and build it and that takes time? (Speculating here)

They could have planned and built the stage design in advance. Plus, they are pretty minimalist. If Bruce can announce his tour and start six weeks later, so can PJ.

True dat but to me the fact that Jeff still ran into a dude here on the forum in a coffee shop in Wyoming back in sept or October and said they had no touring plans at that time tells me the October and November rumors were all hype. I'm sure I'm wrong with all the leaks along the way, but I still believe a band member when they say they've got nada. Either way we have a tour coming and I will be minimally let down if they tour the LB dealio again

Help catch me up. This thread has really grown. Is there any hard information as to where the tour might take place? Last I heard people speculating an East Coast tour, then with the Bonnaroo leak people started saying a more southern tour? Thanks.

Of course he would lie but the dude who chatted with him was convinced he knew nothing and I fully believe he didn't. I also fully believe they haven't worked on a new album at all too. We the fans are the only ones clambering for new stuff- his career is set and they have enough albums out now, they don't have anything they need to prove. Making an album and touring are secondary to family and life now, quite the opposite to them when they started.
