Does anyone else not find it terribly depressing that those who are lucky in a sense to have people who trust them with this information in advance can't hold their own piss?

Rumours are cool but when solid information is leaked that wasn't meant to be, that is really poor form. Is it really so important to have people know that you knew first? What the fuck is that all about?

Maybe it's just me, but if the tour was ready for announcing I'm sure it would be announced. But here they are - the dates being posted here on the bands site which are clearly leaked confidential information which wasn't intended for public access yet. All because some folk can't control themselves

    Yea, I love them too!

do you think these are legit? (honest question)

I hear what you are saying but I don't find it depressing at all. Quite the opposite actually. I'm always thankful when people pass useful information along to the community.

No wonder nobody can get a ticket to any of there shows...

I note that nobody here says, "Yes, I can make it to the show in my town!"

Everyone here says, "I can make it to the shows in these 6 cities!"... lol...

either way, if that schedule is legit, I'll see y'all in Toronto and dive into the clusterfuck of trying to get tickets to the 2 last shows of the tour... on weekends none-the-less... ugh.... gonna be a nightmare.

i hear you...i mean, there are people who have been to 100+ shows...lol.

Oh I get the thirst, we all like it but when the info is passed to someone in confidence ? And it ends up here? That really isn't cool. And it's always a desperate attempt to be first .... I knew first, look at me. Fuck me. Sad

Are there any random cities being played that would shock us? Like visiting Maine or Delaware, or Iowa?

Or...West BY EFFING GOD Virginia! (Charleston, please!)

I just wish the band would announce shows sooner. I actually have to choose my vacations for next year at a meeting in 2 weeks. Very hard to switch out once chosen, and would be nice to plan my life around PJ... Oh, and my kids too of course...

I can't speak for Paul, but I can say that my comment (on Paul's comment) was directed at the original person who posted on FB, not you.

All good man! I'd have done the same if I saw some random person post that on FB :)

I wonder why this is done especially if you're blowing a confidence. A confidence is just that, a confidence. Where is the respect for the person who gave this information as a gift?

i wouldnt feel too badly for anyone. This is the age we live in. Internet, social media, everyone connected, etc.

This seems to leak out each time... every time it happens, it usually signals we are within a week of announcement anyways (provided the list is somewhat factual).

I think he meant- He is an admin on the ten club facebook page. Someone wrote to him asking if they can post those dates and dimi told them to wait. The dates were then posted on another PJ FB page.

There's rumours that come along like people being told there's a hold here by a friend who works at such and such. I love those because once there's enough we all can put a picture together.

And there's having inside information and busting a confidence. That's different.

I think you are spot on with that. Thanks for the clarification.

Side note: A lot of people on here are either skeptical to a fault or extremely bad at reading between the lines. lol

I hear what you are saying but I don't find it depressing at all. Quite the opposite actually. I'm always thankful when people pass useful information along to the community.
Oh I get the thirst, we all like it but when the info is passed to someone in confidence ? And it ends up here? That really isn't cool. And it's always a desperate attempt to be first .... I knew first, look at me. Fuck me. Sad

    Couldn't agree more, Paul.

I get the excitement of someone who goes to a hockey game and a friend who works there spills info about a hold on one venue and then posts it...that's a rumor. I get that. That's cool. I live near a venue that hasn't been played since '92. In 2010 there were rumors they would play here and that possibility was fun to think about until the tour was announced and the local venue didn't make the list...

But, if that list is legit, whomever shared it in a public forum should take a long look in the mirror. Clearly if it were meant to be public, it would have already been public.
The craving for attention by two people effectively posting over and ever I know something you don't, and so I will post vague hints so I get 100 pms today and people like me, I just don't get it.

Philly and NYC back-to-back shows look really appealing, but I think I'll end up with:
Buffalo, Albany (fingers crossed), Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto.
    2018 - 8/8, 8/10
    2016 - 5/5, 5/8, 5/10, 5/12, 8/5, 8/7
    2014 - 6/28, 6/29
    2013 - 10/12, 11/24
    2011 - 9/14

Sorry if I offended anyone posting that. I was just passing along what thousands of others were seeing on the FB page. And for all we know, they still are "rumors"
Anyone who clicked into a thread called "2016 PJ25 Tour Rumors" knew what they were getting into lol.

That original person who posted on FB might have some explaining to do... or maybe its made up, who the hell knows?
There's rumours that come along like people being told there's a hold here by a friend who works at such and such. I love those because once there's enough we all can put a picture together.

And there's having inside information and busting a confidence. That's different.
That is exactly it. Of course people come to this thread hoping to get dates, I'm not saying the surprise is ruined for the fans. Fans want info and they don't give a shit shout waiting for announcements. The issue being is the info has been leaked from a confidence ... It's been hinted at all week and it's pretty painful to watch as there's only one agenda there.
