Local station previously referenced (CHEZ106.1) will be making a big concert announcement at 6:40 but have a feeling they will be talking about Bruce Springsteen in Toronto and Buffalo. Will pass on info.

Why would they announce something that has been known for 3 days now?

    Not PJ. George Thorogood. Lame.

If they made a big deal announcing that, I highly doubt a PJ announcement is coming today.

The group makes records, not hits, and a song that “sounds like Pearl Jam” is rarely an early single

Where is such a great shot in that high res from?!

Apparently the lottery favors those with a post code/zip code of the area they are playing in.

? Where did you get that idea from? That is the first time I read about something like this so I would be very surprised if this is true. Especially since it would be a very dickish policy to people who have no shows/very few shows in their area. It would devalue the membership of a lot of poeple.
I do not remember but I swear when they first did the lottery 10c wrote this somewhere ha.

Jason Aldean is the big country announcement... hopefully the rock stations stay exclusive to "rock" music. Aldean certainly does fall in the HUGE announcement category

Most of you Americans love to book your hotels so early..Is it really that necessary? New York for example is a big place...

True, although, the weekend is set to be a busy one around the time of the rumoured dates, with a few other events already going on. Getting in before prices explode without any cancellation fees does make good sense, the prices hotels were going for around Global citizen was ridiculous by all accounts

Didn't know the prices spiked so much. Fair enough.
And the most convenient locations book quickly...

well they haven't toured the us during the summer in a long time. In 08 they had a few shows during June and the last time they played the us in July was 06. It'd be nice to tour around the country during the summer as opposed to the fall/spring.

Getty Images. Looks like the 2011 Canadian tour, with the backdrop and the PJMC drum kit. I like Ed's Jordans...

Yeah...I've done well in lottery and way out of my zip code...so that's an idiotic thing to say. Random is random....don't guess and say it's fact..oh wait..that's what this whole thread is about!!
