The Florida west coast current is much more laid back than our more aggressive east coast current.
That said, they both sound better than a MassHole current.Except ,I could see the benefit of a Boston current during the frigid winters though.

What about Australian currents? Do they flow differently than those in the Northern Hemisphere? Like the whole toilet water spins the opposite way...

I believe they flow in very unpredictable ways, sometimes downright odd. They keep you on your toes, or so I'm told.

    I would concur with this.

Crazy currents can keep you on your toes. I'm looking for a current that can do that without the crazy.

So I had a young buck come in and fill out an application for a position we are trying to fill.Solid kid, with a Great D1 Baseball background and his last job was a surf instructor for kids and teens.Under that he described what he did.I shit you not he wrote."I teach kids how to navigate and protect themselves from dangerous currents with proper safety techniques"
I started laughing and everyone in earshot asked what's so funny.I told them they wouldn't understand.
I think I may hire the kid. He seems to get it.

That dude should be made the #3 in your company. If you can conquer the current you can conquer anything.

Can it truly be conquered or can you only hope to tame it?

Containment at best.Although I have heard stories of a few gents in Utah who have contained conquered multiple currents(4-6) at the same time. This is proffesional grade and cheating the system.

I like my currents wild and unfettered. Nothing more boring than a tame or contained current. In fact, most of the time you've gotta let the current be your guide -- or else you'll wash ashore with a broken board.
