Also, the book 'Tropic of Capricorn' was banned in the US until 1961 when the Supreme Court had to rule it was not obscene.

    Ketchup has been banned from French schools, so that those little French palates don't get infected with Americanism. Strange how some harmless things can get banned.

    It makes me wonder about the many reasons for banning to begin with.

    Safety? Ideology? Fear? Health?

    (I've never had a Kinder Egg but damned if my curiosity has recently been piqued)

    If we discuss those being banned here it would get us in trouble. That was made very clear to us with the last person sent away. Even mentioning their name was against the rules. We shall focus on other silly things being banned in this thread as I am no trouble maker despite what ND says.

    What, when did I call you a troublemaker in this thread.

    There a few key elements to getting certain items banned.
    1. It has to be fun in some way, some people can't stand fun so this is instrumental.
    2. It must present itself exactly as it has been advertised. This is so the confusion factor for those that are intelligent enough to know how ridiculous it is, is high enough that they don't believe it's true.
    3. Someone must really love making ridiculous things like getting stuff banned a really high priority in their life. Like ridiculously important and it must also bring them a sense of self righteousness when it does get banned.

    So remember kids - don't be fun, intelligent, logical or honest and most importantly always have a hobby.
