For all the wrong reasons,
I said yes to you.
I lied to myself,
But you lied to me too.
You painted the picture,
I wanted to see.
The colors soon faded,
Insults and injuries.
So many years wasted,
Living this lie.
I'm so tired of sitting idle,
As life passes by.
So much for the picture,
You painted for me,
I made a mistake,
I loved you for me.
