to be honest with you I have been living the corporate out-sourcing dilemma lately and plant closure starts with things just like this, in our case we were told we needed to bring our profit margin up to 17% which was a impossible task even though our profit is-was in the billions as it was, and then they dropped the closure bomb on us, with Boeing this scenario sounds all to familiar, they have stated a 300 person lay-off and suggested out-sourcing...believe me that plan or idea has most likely been in the works for quit some time, this IM deal just gives them an opportunity to make their first steps and place blame elsewhere.
