Prices at the Grocery Store and Good Recipes

I spent about $250 at Stop and Shop, Costco and Trader Joes this week on food. Granted some (not a lot!) was basics and not everyday shopping but I'm looking for some new recipes that don't' cost a fortune! What do you love to eat and how do you make it? I like to cook but it's getting ridiculous....the price of meat is crazy!

LOL is this too "old lady" for the forum??? If so let it sink into oblivion!
