    I'm surprised the tickets don't say at what time one can start lining up. If I remember properly, for Letterman they gave out colored wristbands with specific time frames to line up. Then they brought everybody into "a line" inside and a couple of guys start making jokes and giving instructions about how to be a good audience member (laugh even if jokes are stupid or no jokes at all, and so forth). They tended to put you in whatever order they deemed OK for the camera although of course, the earlier you get there, the better chances for a decent spot. Then there were the VIPs....

    Lets see how Colbert works out :)
    What time did they hand out wristbands?

    Lets wait for tiki's comments. Colbert might be totally different from what Letterman was :) For Letterman, i went to three tapings and always had a specific 15 minute timeframe to line up from the e-mail they sent me.
    If I read his post correctly, tiki is not going to post a comment, but he'll enlighten you if you shoot him a pm.

    DAAAAYYYYMMMM!!!!

    I keep missing these fucking thread updates by like an hour!

    The 23rd is my birthday and I would LOVE to get into this if at all possible.

    I can definitley offer Mets playoff tickets and possibly a VIP 3 GC ticket in exchange.

    If I remember correctly, these shows sort of cherry pick audience so getting there early might get you in the door but not necessarily in the best spot. See the audience gets on camera in some shots so they put pretty people up front or wherever the audience will be in view and the ugly slobs in the back :lol:

    which is why i'm not crying about missing tickets for this. :lol:

    Not so...I'm as unattractive as you get, and I was not discriminated against at all. It's truly first come first served.

    It's a joke. just trying to be funny. I've been trying to get tickets every single time it's mentioned here. I'm actually OFF that day so it kind of hurts that I keep missing out on tickets.
