Lives and dreaming minds
I woke up this morning with an insight that is worth examining:
The people we keep close influence the course of our lives.
(for good or bad)
I know the idea seems mundane, but it’s more than that!
the people we bring close create an environment of “normal” that creates a road
our lives are lived on this road
I believe we can trace our individual roads back to people
those who were important to us, people we loved deeply, or people we emulated
think about your own life, can you trace backward from where you are now?
there are clues to see
think about your own path, at the forks in your road, who was at your side?
which part of your life is directly related to this person or that one?
how many of these choices were conscious?
how many turns were taken just for the company?!
