YOU want to talk about a difficult task...
it wasn't easy, but I chose to stay out of this thread on purpose!!
I saw the "bumps" and had several people congratulate me for being the latest person selected to receive their "Holy Grail."
It's still hard for me to understand why I was chosen for this honor,
I was shocked when Roger sent me the initial PM informing me of this decision.
I really didn't know how to answer some of the questions he asked me,
so I told him that I would be just fine with letting you guys, MY PJ friends and family,
decide what to do.
I wanted whatever YOU had planned for me to be a surprise and while it wasn't easy,
I DID manage to stay away from the thread...
until the packages arrived today!!!
Once I had YOUR gifts in my hands...
I felt I should read through the comments before opening the packages.
To say that I'm grateful for the kind words and warm thoughts expressed in this thread would be a HUGE understatement!!
YOUR words mean more to me than you will ever know!!
I'm so fortunate to have met MANY of you...
We've laughed and cried together, traveled together, shared meals, hotel rooms and many drinks together, attended shows together...both PJ and several other groups we enjoy, and through it all, we've shared a love for the music that has brought so much to all of our lives.
AND I'm also looking forward to the day that I cross paths with those of YOU that I haven't met yet...just be on the lookout for my Tie-dye T-shirts!!
YOU all have become family to me...
and I'm so fortunate that YOU consider my friendship valuable to you as well!!
