standing there

(part I. you bastards)

angelic from leaf sky down to my feet
it was not snowing but as pure as
she wore a close smile
here her china doll is not still
with a magical moon lit
she did

so deep lost & high
every window went away
the prayers slow
filled the room
(puppy breath & my childhood rememberings & rings)
with sweet fragrances
brought in by clouds & light

tea leaves river deep
a flowing emperor
peach & black

valleys
a spoon to the blossom stirred & drank
she just stood there

"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
