Help translating Eddie Banter in Zagreb 2006

I need some help figuring out what Eddie is saying after World wide suicide.
Is there anyone out there who speaks Croatian?

It goes something like this:
"I want to propose a toast to Croatia. Thank you for inviting us and we are glad that we are finally in your country."

Thanks you very much.
Silly thing though, I posted this on Friday night and the next morning I had to work.
By some strange coincidence the guy I had to work with turned out to speak Croatian.
Of course I took the oppertunaty that presented itself.
