Well, I have seen the set lists and so far they've looked short, for being Pearl Jam sets that is but anyhow. Is it because it was festival shows? I'm kinda worried that I'm not gonna get my 25+ songs in Copenhagen :P But Leeds last year was 22 songs so the fact that they were festival shows have to be the reason. Guess we'll just have to wait and see :(

    yeh its festivals..

Still a bit too 06sy for my liking. I want them to compeletely mix this shit around... but i think its a greatest hits setlist as they are playing festivals

But more importantly im just glad they are playing Europe :)

I wasn't concerned about the length, but more the selection. I'd like to see more off No Code, Yield, Binaural and Riot Act.

The European setlists have always tended to be shorter than the US shows.

Dublin last August wasn't a festival show and only had 23 songs.

I don't know what time they get on stage in the US but judging by the advertised stage time for London, I'm not expecting longer than a 2 hour set.

But hey, they're here again, quickly so its all cool :)

Yeah but Dublin was the first show of the tour and i think they tend to be pretty short as well. Look how short the first australian show in 03 was.

True......but I'm still expecting Copenhagen to be a special show....for obvious reasons.

The first 2-3 shows of any new tour is usually non-eventful. Let them get their wind back and we should be seeing the normal 27-29 songs.

the 2007 shows so far are "short" because this is festivals. The european shows last year weren't short, exept the festival ones.
Don't worry for Copenhagen, the setlist will be a real PJ setlist with 25 or 30 songs... :D

I know it is what these forums are for, but it irks me to see topics like this come up.
First of all, why are we debating the shortness of setlists, it will have no impact on the band at all - this is just a pointless debate about nothing. Secondly, if you just wait until tomorrow night, you will find out whether these first two shows have set a precedent or not. Thirdly, and most importantly, even as a 'die-hard' fan, i listened to the Madrid and was blown away, despite them playing a 20 song set, and these songs being 'hits' - I can guarantee whatever you hear when you see the band in Europe, regardless of length of show or amount of rarities played, you will have a great time.

Yeah, listening to that Madrid show live was so exciting, and while it was 90 mins, it was short and sweet, and full of energy. It was the closest thing to being there, and totally made my day.

Actually, I think that was mostly down to the Point and it's curfew. It's a bit notorious for early curfews, and I heard a rumour they actually had more songs on the setlist, but had to cut it short.
    Hey hey it's okay...

What´s everybody so obsessed about length for? Surely it is quality not quantity that counts?? Or are you all men?

Well...here in Phoenix we get zero songs so a short setlist is much better than we are getting...
