Explain to me please....

What exactly it is that you people here have been up to, in regards to tickets for Central Park.
I realize I could go on the Global Citizens website, and probably figure it out, but I also realize that someone here can explain it to me in a matter of seconds.

You folks have been signing petitions? What kind of petitions?
You are earning points? What do those points entitle you to?
Im serious here. I have no idea what this is all about.
Please explain. I would appreciate it.
Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

It's easy. Nothing takes more than a few keystrokes. Signing a petition involves clicking a button. Tweeting another button. Sending an email another button. There are eight things they want you to do for the first drawing and it takes less than five minutes from start to finish.

If you don't get the hang of it, I'm sure you'll have no problem being someone from here's +1. And wifey could be someone else's.

There are some informational videos about causes too. You get points just for watching them.

They don't all give points for sharing. It has to specifically say that it will give however many points if you share it.

Tweeting is 3 of the Actions that you have to do to enter the first drawing.
when press the button, and go to twitter my tweets appear but when I go back the GC site, it doesn't say "Action Completed".
I am just wondering what I am doing wrong?
I have added #GlobalCitizen and now follow them.... just can't figure this out.

    go here: https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/rewards/action-journey-number-1/

    sign up/create an account

click the first box that says tweet now

go through all of them by clicking the "next action" thing and do the final one from your cell phone.

That's it. Once you do all of them you have your entry. This is a difference process than it has been in previous years.

I do in fact have a twitter but I also made a dummy account to use for Global Citizen (back in 2012)

Since this year it's not AS tweet-heavy as it was in the past, I just used my regular twitter account and then deleted the tweets afterward.

Im thinking 99% of the Pearl Jam fans on this board, truly don't give a rats ass about any messages that Global Citizen is trying to spread. They want their tickets, preferably in the 1st 10 rows, and that's all that matters. I can name you 10-15 folks here, who have been building up points, 24 hours a day, without ever once even reading the petitions they are signing. Hahahaha
