The "S" is for Steven. As in Colbert. PJ will be his first musical guests on Sept. 8.

And I'll bet my NM Backspacer...... CD.

The grey S is the shuttle subway that goes between Times Square and Grand Central Station. Close is relative. Maybe they're playing Dick Clark's Rockin New Years presented by American Idol.

Or maybe it's just a general NYC thing.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

maybe the "S" is for "suckers"? as in, I can't believe these "suckers" are going to pay $100 a ticket, $40 for a poster, $3 for a sticker, $35 for a show specific Tshirt and $10 for a beer all while we play.

    Ten dollar beer? NEVER.

They are going to busk in the subway, a'la Glen Hansard.

I don't think the person that made this photo thought a bunch of us crazies would find the original, overanalyze it, and try to come up with speculation based on the color of the subway line or the distance between the subway stop is question and the music venues available to play. But I like the way you guys think. ;)

I dont think they would announce a big tour for there 25th anniversary 2 months before it starts. Unless its a huge world tour and there announcing it now and it begins early next year.

There is no way they will celebrate their 25th anniversary four years after celebrating their 20th.

There's no way they would celebrate their 20th anniversary 11 years after their 10th anniversary. Oh wait, that's exactly what happened.

Yup. PJ fans are the only ones who can turn it into a new album, a retirement announcement, a mega-tour in the style of the 2003 tour when they haven't done one in a long time, a major US/Canadian tour, a No Code/Vs reissue, etc.

Everyone else -- PJ20 was to mark (more or less) the 20th anniversary of Ten, which was released on August 27th, 1991. The PJ20 festival came a little over a week after the true 20th anniversary of that date.

Why people think PJ20 was 20 years past the first show (OMG! THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!) is beyond me.

That's a fair point. Still not gonna happen. PJ20 was a much bigger deal than the one-off show in Vegas was.

By all means dare to dream. Just don't blame the band when you are disappointed.
