    Maybe I'm not fully aware of the details, but I'm not overly offended or upset by this. He exaggerated some stuff to look cooler. I know lots of people who do that. Feel like this is a little bit of the "gotcha" game. A famous person made a mistake, let's pounce.

    Losing the Nightly News gig is a serious punishment and career embarrassment. He served his sentence. I wish him well at MSNBC.

    would be better on that if he were more forthright and overt in stating what he did. Instead he seems to be dancing around this apology. Say it plainly . I lied. I have more respect for one who fully owns whatever the infraction than one who dances around it.

    in one of those anonymous not allowed to speak to the press deals, some cat let it out that when the big wigs at nbc were asking him what the hell bro what's with all the lies? he said he didn't know what happened, something must have been wrong with his head, "maybe I had a brain tumor". hehehehe, I think it's great and definitely my new excuse when anyone asks me why I didn't do something. in fact I think i'll make that my signature.
    if you think what I believe is stupid, bizarre, ridiculous or outrageous.....it's ok, I think I had a brain tumor when I wrote that.
