Judd Apatow’s new book “Sick in the Head” is released today! Includes interviews with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, Jim Carrey is Here, Chris Rock, and many more!

All proceeds from book sales benefit 826 National, an organization focused on helping students, ages 6–18, with expository and creative writing. 826 National is a past beneficiary of the Vitalogy Foundation.

“The new interviews, conducted over the last few years, have a different dynamic. Mr. Apatow is now an equal — he talks more so we learn more about him, and the exchanges feel more like a chummy conversation. The topics range further afield, from comedy to family or religion. Mr. Apatow also throws in some noncomedians, like Miranda July and Eddie Vedder, just because he is a fan.”

    It's from Pearl Jam week on Jimmy Fallon from 2013. This particular one aired on Thursday. This was right after they sang Sirens. Judd Apatow and Ed Norton were the guests. I remember this because I'm one of the smiling fools in the back :D

    If you "Look Inside" on Amazon.com they feature all the photos in the book. The caption under this one says: "At the end of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, for some reason Eddie Vedder thought we should square dance."

    This is probably the same interview they did to promote LB, don't you guys think?
    Hopefully with unreleased parts

    I'm a huge comedy fan and I've really been looking forward to reading this book. I was stoked about EV's interview being included. The interview is mostly a transcript of the one used to promote LB. I don't remember this being part of that video interview, but there's a sweet story EV tells about one of his daughters listening to Ukulele Songs when she goes to bed. All proceeds for this book go to Dave Egger's nonprofit 826 which promotes children's literacy. Check them out they're a great organization 826national.org
