Anyone else hoping to NOT hear Evenflow?

Sure it's upbeat and gets the crowd going but there are about 50 songs I'd rather hear. They play it every night and it just seems WAY over done.

    are you at the show every night? because it seems to me, that's the only way it's overdone.

    to answer your question, I wouldn't cry if they didn't play it at a show I was at. But I definitely wouldn't curse and spit if they did. I like to watch Mike blaze the solo. so much better to see in person that hear on a boot.

    Even flow or no even flow, I don't care. I just want to see pearl jam live the next time they hit Texas like 2 or 3 times. seeing them once in twice over the last six years is not enough.

    i always say i don't want to hear it, but every time they do, i'm there belting it out with the rest of the crowd. so, i'd prefer to hear them play something else, but it's a high energy song for both the band and the crowd so i'm not gonna complain.

    now "jeremy"...i could go the rest of my life without hearing that song again...

    its probably the only time cready gets to do a real solo by himself and you dont want hear it. whats next you're gonna say black or betterman is WAY over done too

    doesn't bother me. but i don't complain about the setlist. i'm glad to be there.

    I've never been to a PJ show, Sydneys going to be my first 2 shows and I would actually love to hear PJ play Even Flow at at least one of them. I can respect that constant PJ show goers would get tired of it or just rather hear another song.

    to me every live version of evenflow is different because of the amazing variations by the guitars.

    i have seen even flow every show (17 times)... just once i would like eddie to take a smoke break to another song... like a 5 minute solo in the end of any other song.....

    I have only seen EF 2 times.. so only seen PJ live twice. I'm seeing them 6 times this year won't complain if I hear it 6 times at at all.

    I've been to one show out of 26 so far, that they didn't play even flow. I also saw a version of daughter with no tag... both beautiful things.

    The only thing worse than hearing daughter live is hearing a 12 minute version when they could be playing "no way" or "oceans".

    Yeah I know what you mean. It's a song that does seem to get played at nearly every show.

    However when they do play it I love it and join in and jump around so I guess I can either take it or leave it.

    if/when you ever reach this point you need to take a step back and perhaps try listening to your 2nd fave band more

    bottomline for me...there is NO PJ song that I don't absolutely love hearing

    I've been to a show with no even flow...its weird shit man...you don't realize how much it belongs there til its gone!

    EVENFLOW LIVE..HARD TO IMAGINE.. anyone not wanting to hear it, but I guess sometimes NOTHINGS AS IT SEEMS. good thing there's a place like a forum to say your... GRIEVANCE...and for those of us that don't agree with you we'll just have to look at it as...INDIFFERENCE...because hey sometimes a song is just... NOT FOR YOU.

    So true, McCready really goes off on that song. His best guitar work I've ever heard is on "Oceans" from 2003 at Irvine. He is my #1 guitar player, Mark Knopler #2
